This post addresses a common problem with a built in Dacor oven. The display will start beeping and show a U43 or L43 error. The troubleshooting documentation will have you check for “Bad connection on S19 connection or bad relay board”. We have yet to see a case where this is caused by the bad connection. It has always been a problem with the relay board shown below.
If you have gone through the trouble of checking the S19 connection and it looks ok, Your should replace the board which if available on ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/285066010768 Note that if send it your old failed controller, you can get $150 back.

If your are getting U43, the “U” means that it is an upper oven. Conversely, if you are getting the L43 error, the problem is with the lower over. Look at the selector switch to identify which board is set up to be upper or lower oven.

When discussing oven control boards, we often refer to them by their part number. This is easy to do when their is only one part number, but that is rarely case.
All boards start with just one part number – the OEM part number. But as the manufacturer revises the part during equipment lifetime, new OEM part numbers are generated for the functionally equivalent revisions.
Then, non-manufacturer part houses and third party resellers generate in-house numbers that add to the chaos.
Now, anywhere between 3 and 13 part numbers could be pointing to the same thing.

If your Dacor oven model number starts with ERD, ERS, CPS , CPD or PGR, there are two types of electronic control boards in the oven. One is the ERC (aka clock, timer, main pcb or controller with display). The second type is the power/relay board. In general, if you are seeing an error code like F1, F3 or F4 to name some common ones, the problem will be with the clock.
